He didn't want to stay here... he wanted to get away.
Far far away.
Jumping on the back of Hemi's beautiful growing form, he felt adrenalin pumping in his head.
He really didn't want to stay here...
Hemi's great wings took them high in the sky, but then a noise was heard and Rowan felt his shoulder burn.
Another sound, and he heard Hemi's painful cry beneath him.
Her big and glorious shape reverted and he felt both of them fall.
Fall to the hard, white ice under them.

For *theme-of-the-week again :D
Theme was "Flight of Agony", and I didn't know what the hell to draw to it XDD
But then I remembered a scene in my figure skating story, that fitted so well, where Rowan is desperately trying to escape a man he doesn't like.

In this story of mine, Waxwing's are shapeshifters and can grow to enormous versions of themselves. Easily carrying a human.

The pose is shit, and I know that ^^; I had trouble with it for about an hour and a half before I gave up and went with what I had.

Thank god for this! When I read "Flight of Agony" I thought of someone being shot out of a huge sling-shot across a gigantic cheese-grater....naked >__<;

I love the gritty texture's you've applied to the clothing, and the blurring is subtle, it's not overdone like WOAH, matrix-bullet-dodge-blur, but it isn't invisible either - it's just enough.

The hugging himself bit is cute though ^^; even though it is a sad piece.

Oh my gosh, this is so breathtaking and beautiful! *A* :heart: The sense of movement and emotion in this pic is just incredible, and I love how his other leg is fading into the backgorund somewhat too. Absolutley perfect! *dies* <333
