The love between the sky and the sea.
 Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, aka Haruka and Michiru. I just recently started watching Sailor Moon S, since it (along with the later seasons) were never shown here in Sweden. I feel in love with Haruka and Michiru right away and they are now in the top of my favorite Sailor Moon characters, along with Sailor Moon, who I have liked since the very beginning ^^ I think it's so silly that the american dub made them cousins  They are such a beautiful couple I made a step-by-step thing for this, and also used the site ScreenToaster to record how I paint skin and hair  Find the step-by-step and the links to the videos here; [link] Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus © Naoko Takeuchi Art © =Gabbi Comments The English speaking population cannot handle lesbians! And yes, American dubbers are extremely dumb. -_- -- I don't have a problem with canon, non-canon, straight, gay or any other of that nonsense. I have a problem with incest but as long as it isn't real life & it is drawn well I will pretend that they're not related for the sake of a job well done. Love wins  ZOMG you did vids???

Critiques
The technical work is impressive, as I have gotten pretty used to with Gabbi's artworks. The linework is very clean and it gives the picture a steady, sensual base. The light purple tones used in the shading works nice with the background color, and I think the overall colors used gives me a delightful picture to look at. I'm specially impressed with how the hairs were created.
Though this is not Gabbis original characters it's always nice to see that she uses her own distinctive style without making the characters too unrecognizeable.
What I personally would have wished for more is firstly that the characters would have legs and not hover in mid-air. I can see the idea with the skirts and the bands making a border for the characters but still, I think legs would work better.
Secondly the lack of a background. The transparent zoom-in on the pair in the background keeps the area from feeling completely empty, but I can't help feeling that this is a time-saver. And it's a bit of a shame since I belive a simple enviromental background would take this work of art to a new dimension.
