Since I'm from Finland, I've eaten Swedish stuff many times and can tell it's ALOT better than the traditional food of finns! I was looking at your journal and wondered if many swedes know we have to study atleast three years of swedish language to get out from school? XD
Really? XD I don't think I've eaten much Finnish food to be honest. I've seen Mämmi it the food store, but that's about it I think Do you have anything good to recommend if I want to eat any Finnish food?
I know that you have to study swedish, but I'm not sure how many other swedish people know that XD
Hmm... good Finnish food... My own favourites are Carelian pastries() and Carelian roast. Deer is very popular, and then there are all kinds of salads... That's about it. X) I can tell you, though, mämmi is not as bad as it looks like! XD It's quite edible, really.
Carelian pastries sounds interesting O.O I have to try it someday!
I don't think mämmi is bad I was just dissapointed when I realised that it wasn't chocolate (I always thought that) My flatmate has tried mämmi (she has relatives in Finland) and she insists that we eat it someday, so I'm sure I will get to taste mämmi, one way or the other
